Teaching Committee
The teaching committee can be staffed by 4th Dan and higher ranks. The staff members must live in the country and must be high Dan ranks of the association’s clubs. In addition, branch leaders from foreign countries will also be included in the committee. The curator of the teaching committee, appointed by the Doshi Aikido (Aikikai Foundation Aikido Hombu Dojo), is Kuribayashi Takanori Shihan.
Who can be included in the Teaching Committee
The members of the Teaching Committee may include the chairman of the committee, the chairman of the examination commission, the technical director, the technical advisor, the head coach, the head instructor, the assistant to the head instructor, and the technical directors of the association’s branches abroad. The staff must have a minimum of 20 years of aikido experience and 10 years of club management practice. If the staff member has a lower Dan rank, a discount on the appointment can only be made to first-generation aikido practitioners.

To develop classical aikido in the republic and remain loyal to the Aikikai Foundation. To create conditions for the training of instructors, coaches and students and to improve their skills. To morally educate instructors, coaches, students and enthusiasts. To organize and improve classes, seminars and exams. To organize classes and courses in sports and other educational institutions. To develop cooperation with local and foreign organizations. To hold and organize festivals, international seminars, exhibitions and friendly meetings with representatives of foreign countries. To protect the rights of students, instructors, coaches, branches, and specialists of structural units. To monitor the correct implementation of basic aikido techniques in accordance with the O Sensei’s method. To approve the calendar plan for conducting seminars (republican, regional, international, instructor, etc.) and certifications held in the republic and to organize these events.
