GENERAL MEMBERS OF THE STUDY COUNCIL
The Training Committee of the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union was established in accordance with the requirements of international rules. The Training Committee is composed of the technical director, technical advisor, senior instructor, instructor, and instructor assistants. High school students are not part of the tеraining сommittee. High school students are the holders of 2 and 1 Kyu, as well as 1 Dan. Members with 2 Dan degrees or more who do not teach in aikido groups are not part of the study committee. The Training Committee is divided into two parts. Key members of the Training Committee and general (other) members of the Training Committee. While the main staff of the Training Committee has the power to make decisions and pass new laws, the duties of the general staff are only to carry out the decisions made.
Qualifications of Instructors

With respect to an Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition, the qualifications for instructors are as follows. The titles for instructors’ qualification are expressed in Japanese terminology.
Shihan – Shidoin – Fukushidoin
Shihan
The Hombu examines and appoints Shihan from among persons who are 6th Dan or above, and who are proficient in practice and instructing. To the appointed person, a Certificate of Appointment is awarded by the Hombu. The highest rank in Azerbaijan is currently 5 Dan. Shihan (Japanese 師範, master) is an honorary title in Japanese martial arts. In aikido, the name “shihan” is given to the owners of the sixth and seventh dan. The degree of Shihan is preceded by the degree of Shidoin, who is a master of 4 and above. “Fukushidoin”, “Shidoin” and “Shihan” are a kind of instructor’s degree similar to the scientific titles “associate professor” and “professor”, and the concept of “dan” is closer to a scientific degree (“master”, “candidate”, “doctor of sciences”). The degree of instructor is usually given to the head of the department (division) in accordance with their specialties. Shidoin
An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition is to have a system for qualifying Shidoin. Shidoin are persons of 4th dan or above An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition can issue a Certificate of Appointment to those whom it has appointed Shidoin. An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition must report to the Hombu the name and dan grade of those whom it has appointed Shidoin.
Fukushidoin
An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition is to have a system for qualifying Fukushidoin. Fukushidoin are persons of 2nd dan or 3rd dan An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition can issue a Certificate of Appointment to those whom it has appointed Fukushidoin. An Aikido organization with Hombu Recognition must report to the Hombu the name and dan grade of those whom it has appointed Fukushidoin.
