As the staff of the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union, we are engaged in aikido activities following the path of the founder of aikido, O Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, and are committed to traditional aikido (AIKIKAI FOUNDATION). All participants must be recognized by the HOMBU, therefore the International Aikido Federation represents only the AIKIKAI school. Our teacher is Kuribayashi Takanori Shihan.

Note: The presentation of the High Dan degrees will be sent to the Aikido Hombu Dojo after first consulting with Kuribayashi Takanori Shihan.

The main task of the High Degree Commission is not to conduct general examinations, but only to deal with the decisions to be made for the presentation of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Dan’s degrees during the Kagami Biraki event. The Commission is a 4 member committee, the Board has equal rights and the Commission does not consist of a chairman and deputies. The Board decides at a round table who should be awarded the high Dan degree and presents it to the Chairman of the Union. The decision on the award of high Dan degrees is the prerogative of the Commission. Comission member of Shidoin Faig Nuriyev, Shidoin Emil Gurbanov and Shidoin Ruslan Mammadov.
