The Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union was founded on September 10, 2001. The main task of the Public Union is to remain faithful to the position and tradition of Aikido in the territory of Azerbaijan and to unite Aikikai-oriented organizations around it. The Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union is a member and representative of the Aikikai Foundation World Aikido Headquarters and the International Aikido Federation in the country.

Working Group

In order to organize the activities for the high-level development of Aikido in Azerbaijan in accordance with international requirements, the Aikido Working Group was established by the decision dated November 7, 2024. The Working Group included the “Aikikan” Martial Arts Club, “Hombu Dojo Azerbaijan” Aikikai Aikido Club and “Sakura” Aikido Aikikay Sports Club.

Tasks of the Working Group

Multiplying the number of halls in the country, increasing the number of members, increasing the number of domestic and international seminars, increasing exemplary performances, promoting children’s and women’s groups, attracting sponsors.
