Azerbaijan Aikikan Martial Arts Club
Azerbaijan “Aikikan” Martial Arts Club was founded in 01.08.2001 by Sensei Siyavush Babayev. Since 2014, Sensei Sanan Hazanzadeh has been leading the club. On 22.05.2024, was accepted as a member of the Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union and was re-established under the union. The activity of the club is regulated by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on non-governmental organizations (Public Unions and Foundations).

CLUB KYU & DAN DEGREE EXAM ADMISSION
“Aikikan” Martial Arts Club was allowed to independently take the exam for club members from 6th Kyu rank to 4th Dan gorge from 05.22.2024. The attestation rights for the 5th and 6th dan degrees belong to the Aikikai Foundation – Kagami Biraki. In addition members, Mr. Kuribayashi Takanori Sensei, the shihan of the union, has the right to participate in the Dan degree exams.

Aikikai Foundation World Aikido Headquarters Membership
Aikikan Martial Arts Club, as a legal member of the Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union since 22.05.2024, is a member of the Aikido Hombu Dojo based on the Recognition (HRO, Hombu Recognition Organization) of the Aikikai Foundation World Aikido Headquarters, has permission to accept Dan degrees and participate in events. The club uses all rights.
International Aikido Federation Membership
Aikikan Martial Arts Club has been a legal member of the Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union since 22.05.2024, and is a member of the umbrella system of the Azerbaijan headquarters office based on the Recognition of the International Aikido Federation. According to the club’s decision, it does not participate in the events of the International Aikido Federation and is exempt from membership fees.
