Rules for individuals
Appendix 1: By joining the membership of the Union, one acquires full rights in any of the clubs that are part of the Union, and gains all rights related to the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union, the Aikikai Foundation and the International Aikido Federation related to its activities.
Appendix 2: As the face of local and foreign organizations that are not part of the Union, one will acquire the right to participate in local and international events of the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union.
Rules for legal entities
Appendix 1: Legal entities that obtain full membership acquire the right to use all events of the Aikikai Foundation, the International Aikido Foundation and the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union.
Appendix 2: Any organization, by legally joining the umbrella system, acquires legal membership of the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union and acquires the right to participate in the events of the International Aikido Federation. However, they do not have the right to participate in the exam to obtain a degree from the Aikikai Foundation on behalf of the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union. The organizations under the umbrella operate independently with the Aikikai organizations of foreign countries.
Appendix 3: Without joining the Azerbaijan Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union as a legal entity, they only participate in local and international events organized by the union in accordance with the principle of friendship and cooperation.
Appendix 4: Participates in local and international seminars as an individual, without representing any legal organization.
RULES FOR ADMISSION TO THE UNION'S MEMBERSHIP
– Any individual residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan may become a member of a public union.
– Any AIKIKAI-oriented sports club registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan may be admitted to membership in accordance with the legislation in order to operate under the union.
– To be admitted to membership of the union as an individual, an application is made to any of the clubs under the union with the participation of an instructor.
– The club head submits the application for membership to the head office of the union.
– When submitting the application, relevant documents required by the union must be submitted.
– Application for membership.
– Letter of withdrawal from membership in another aikido club, federation (etc.) or other relevant document.
– Copy of age certificate (for those who have not reached the age of majority).
– Copy of identity card.
– Health certificate.
– 3×4 photos (2 or 4 pieces).
– The applicant is accepted (may be accepted) into the membership of the union by the admissions committee within 1 (one) month from the date of submission of the application.
The members of the admissions committee are the chairman of the union, the general secretary, the chief instructor, the lawyer and the chairmen of the clubs.
– The members of the union have equal rights.
FULL RULES FOR ADMISSION TO THE UNION'S MEMBERSHIP
– Individuals who are accepted as members of the Union are fully registered as official or permanent members of the Union after successfully passing the exam for the 6th kyu rank.
– A student is not considered a full member of the Union until he/she is certified.
– After the Kyu and Dan ranks are increased, the student may be appointed to any responsible position in organizational affairs. A person who is not a member of the Union cannot be appointed to a position.
– Those who join the Union if it is a legal entity must sign a relevant cooperation agreement or undergo state registration with the participation of the Union again in order to organize their activities under the Union on a permanent basis.
– Organizations accepted as legal entities (clubs, federations, etc.) into the Union must operate in accordance with the Union’s statutes, internal regulations and international rules from the moment of admission.
Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union is the Representative Office of the , Aikikai Foundation and the IAF in Azerbaijan
Members of the Aikikai Aikido Clubs Public Union
Anyone who comes to study aikido in the sections of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union:
- Remember, you study aikido not in an ordinary aikido section, but at the headquarters of the World Aikido Center in Azerbaijan.
- The teachings given by the founder of aikido, his followers, Hombu Dojo teachers, and instructors of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union should be treated with respect.
Membership in the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union is individual and voluntary.
Regardless of regional affiliation, anyone can become a member of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union and attend aikido lessons in any section of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union.
Rights and obligations of a member of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union:
Members of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union have the following rights:
- Be engaged in the sections included in the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union;
- Must participate in all events of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union;
- Participate in external programs as part of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union team;
- Represent the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union in Azerbaijan and foreign countries in accordance with the assigned powers;
- Take exams for Kyu and Dan degrees.
Members of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union are required to:
- Regularly attend training courses in the sections of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union,
- Remember that the technique itself is not the main goal, but only a means to improve the soul and body for personal development and spiritual growth;
- Actively participate in the activities of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union, its strengthening and development, and support the traditions of the school;
- Respect the experience and work of the instructors of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union clubs;
- Strictly adhere to the rules of conduct during training and act in such a way as to create a favorable environment for mutual respect in the sections of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union;
- Comply with the rules and regulations adopted by the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union;
- Pay membership fees on time.
In accordance with the ethical standards accepted in martial arts and the international rules of Hombu Dojo, if you independently participate in the training of foreign aikido clubs, as well as in seminars of Aikikai instructors (including Hombu Dojo classes), you are obliged to inform the management of the “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union about this and receive a letter of recommendation (consent).
