"Kendo & Iaido" Japanese Cultural Public Union

The main goal of our association is to preserve the tradition of Aikikai Aikido. To achieve this goal, we prefer to engage in Japanese national martial arts supporting Aikikai Aikido. Our goal is to develop the types of combat that forms the basis of Japanese national culture. Azerbaijan “Kendo & Iaido” Japanese Cultural Public Union was founded in 10.04.2019 as the with the participation of Azerbaijan “Aikikai Aikido Clubs” Public Union. In xx.xx.2021 was registred in the Minstry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic by Azerbaijan “Aikikai Aikido Club” Public Union and “Katana Aikido Sport Club” Public Union. Public Union performs its activity based on non-government organizations legislation of Azerbaijan Republic.

30.05.2023-cü ildə Azərbaycan Kendo Təşkilatı ilə Azərbaycan Aykikay Aykido Akademiyasının birgə razılığı əsasında, Azərbaycan Kendo Təşkilatı, “Kendo & İaydo” Yapon Mədəniyyəti İctimai Birliyiyinə təsisçi olaraq qoşuldu. İctimai Birlik fəaliyyətini Azərbaycan Respublikası qeyri-hökümət təşkilatları haqqında (ictimai birliklər və fondlar) qanunu ilə tənzimləyir.

Aykikay Aykido üzrə yudanşa heyətinin Ayki Ken dərslərində texniki səviyyənin inkişafının təşkili üçün 16 iyun 2014 cü ildən başlayaraq, Azərbaycan Aykikay Akademiyası tədris heyəti tərəfindən müntəzəm olaraq tədris komitəsinə kendo və iaydo üzrə qısa dərslər verməyə başlanmışdı. 30 may 2023-cü il tarixində İlham Quliyev Sensey ilə Ramazan Ağayev Senseyin birgə qərarına əsasən, aykidonun və kendonun birgə inkişaf proqramına Azərbaycan Kendo Təşkilatı qoşularaq, Kendo & İaydo Yaponiya Mədəniyyəti İctimai Brliyində məqsədyönümlü fəaliyyətin əsasın qurdular. Bunula əlaqədar Aykido Akademiyası ilə Kendo Akademiyası üzvləri birgə master klass dərslərini təşkil etdilər. Aykikay Akademiyası üzrə bu proqrama İlham Quliyev, Elnur Nemətov və Ruslan Məmmədov tədris heyəti olaraq fəaliyyətdə iştirak edirlər.

Ayki Ken proqramı Aykidonun banisi O Sensey Morihey Ueşiba tərəfindən yaradılıb. Burada müxtəlif ken citsu məktəblərinin metodikası bazası əsasında aykido idman növünün metodik prinsipi proqramına uyğun formada katanadan (və ya boken) istifadə edilməkdədir. Bu metodikaya ken suburi, ken kata, kumi taçi və s. proqramlar daxildir. Bununla yanaşı proqramda tanto və co dərsləridə vardır.

Kendo (the path of the sword) is the modern martial art of Japanese fencing with bamboo swords. It leads its history from the traditional samurai sword wielding techniques, kenjutsu. The goal is to form a full-fledged personality and firm character, tempering the will and body of the fencer. In modern Japan is considered as one of the sports. There is a movement for the inclusion of kendo in the program of the Olympic Games. The name Kendo was created by the Military Japan Virtue Society (Dai Nippon Butokukai), which appeared in 1895, with the aim of reviving samurai traditions and strengthening the Japanese spirit among Japanese youth. The term originated from the ancient “ken-jutsu”, where “ken” is a sword, “jutsu” is an art in which the hieroglyph “jutsu” was replaced with the hieroglyph “Do” is the way. The main method of the Society became the fencing lessons in physical education classes in schools.

Kendo idman növü Azərbaycanda 2017 ci tarixindən Ramazan Ağayev başçılığı ilə Azərbaycan Kendo Təşkilatını tərəfindən təbliğ olunmağa başlanılıb. Kendo dərsləri ayrılıqda Kendonun inkişafı ilə fəaliyyət qurmaqla yanaşı, Aykido ardıcıllarının dərslik proqramında xüsusi yer almaqdadır. Kendo və Aykido sevərləri özündə birləşdirən Kendo və Aykido Akademiyası 30 may 2023-cü il tarixində İlham Quliyev Sensey və Ramazan Ağayev Senseyin birlikdə əməkdaşlıq proqramı əsasında yaradılan və iki idman növünün məqsədyönümlü inkişafı üçün bağlanılmış memorandum əsasında yapon döyüş növləri və mədəniyyətinin Azərbaycanda inkişafına start verildi.

Iaido (literally, the art of meeting when sitting) is the art of a surprise attack or counterattack using a Japanese sword (katana). Unlike kendo, it is not fencing that is being studied here, but the instant defeat of the enemy with the blade originally sheathed. By “instant defeat” is meant a quick exposure of the sword followed by a strike at danger, for example, when a person sitting in front shows signs of aggression or takes up a sword. Also in this type of fencing there is no armor, as in kendo: a protective helmet, vest and gloves. Historically, the role of the predecessor of iaido (iajutsu) in teaching a samurai was reduced to two main ideas: first, to give him the opportunity to practice with a real sword (shinken) without fear of causing irreparable injuries to his partner or, worse, teacher, and, secondly , instill in him the skills of action in those situations when it is necessary to attack or defend unexpectedly, without being able to extract the sword from the sheath in advance. Thus, iaijutsu was an auxiliary discipline in relation to kenjutsu – the proper art of sword fencing.
